Our Christian counseling clinic is seeking a licensed mental professional to join our fun, supportive team in either Castle Rock or the Park Meadows area of Colorado. The ideal candidate wants to be in private practice with like-minded clinicians and not have the hassles of self-employment. We are a fee-for-service clinic, so plan for about 4 months to build a caseload. Referrals come quickly if skilled with adolescents, couples, trauma, and/or addictions. We place a high value on research-based practice, ethics and Christian integration. Regular trainings and informal consultation lunches are part of our culture. Therapists are W-2 employees, with a commission-based salary.

Note: When you look at our website, you’ll notice our staff is almost entirely Caucasian. We would like to expand our services to include clinicians of color since research shows clients tend to do better and last longer with clinicians who are of their ethnic background. If you are a person of color, please consider Envision as a possible place of employment.

Requirements: Identifies as Christian. Laughs at jokes. Not weird. Must already be licensed in Colorado as a Psychologist, LPC, or LMFT.

To Apply: Email a vita or resume to Dr. Veronica Johnson.

Internship Program

Envision Counseling Clinic’s internship training program is geared toward counseling students who want experience in a group practice.  You will learn ethical practices, including integration of faith-based values with clients who hold a variety of spiritual beliefs.  Students must be in the final year of their master’s program at a CACREP or other regionally-accredited institution.

Internship Application

Intern Expectations

If you believe you would be a good fit at Envision, submit 3 things: the completed application, your resume and a cover letter. (Instructions for submission are at the bottom of the application.)

Important:
Available slots are filled as soon as possible. Early submissions are encouraged. Most strong students submit applications in January. (This behavior might be neurotic, but we like interns to be a little neurotic, especially if it comes with a good sense of humor.) Interviews may take place before the dates below. The deadlines below are a “worst-case scenario” if we don’t find our interns before then.

First Round Application Deadline: February 15, 2024
First Round Interviews: February 19-February 23, 2024

If necessary (really, truly worst-case) we will hold a second round:
Second Round Application Deadline: April 12, 2024
Second Round Interviews: April 15-19, 2024

Internship start date: September 1, 2024
Internship end date: August 31, 2025

Other Important Information:
Finalist interns will undergo a background check and take the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory, Second Edition (MMPI-2) prior to starting internship.

An internship position at Envision Counseling Clinic does not guarantee an employment position following internship.
