Courtney McHale, M.A., LPCC

You are taking a huge step of courage to begin therapy. Just knowing that your counselor sees your courage can be a huge comfort. Courtney is such a counselor. No matter what situation you are currently facing, she will find your strengths and help you flourish. In session with Courtney, you will have the opportunity to regain clarity and purpose so you can experience life to the full. You will find her style to be warm and empathetic, as well as direct and honest. Courtney will work collaboratively with you to build a custom-fit plan for your specific context.

After completing her studies in Theology and Child Development at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Courtney spent a decade working in youth and family ministry before graduating with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University. In addition to being trained to work with individuals, couples, families, and children, Courtney also holds several certifications through the Green Cross Institute of Traumatology. She has a special interest and love for working with young adult women, a love that began in college as a Resident Assistant of 300 women and has continued through the years in the form of leading various women’s ministries.

Growing up on a horse farm in New Jersey, Courtney has a love for wide-open spaces and is embracing the constant adventure of Colorado’s outdoors. Her adorable nieces and nephews live in Texas and are the light of her life, hopping on a Texas-bound plane has become a regular occurrence!
