Gentle sarcasm and well-placed silliness are some of Dr. Johnson’s favorite therapeutic techniques. Fair warning: If you’re not the kind of person that enjoys laughing, Dr. Johnson’s probably not the best therapist for you.

You’ll cry.
Counseling requires us to go through pain. It stinks, but there is no way around it. We’ll have to face the pain that is causing the problems. If we didn’t face the pain, it would be like going to a physical therapist after breaking your leg, and they don’t work on your leg. Ludicrous! Don’t worry though, you’ll take breathers to laugh from time to time.

You’ll breathe.
We go through pain because there is air on the other side. Instead of getting stuck in the pain, you’ll find that you can breathe again.

Dr. Veronica Johnson is a Licensed Psychologist, engaging public speaker, and co-owner of Envision Counseling Clinic. Beware though, she’s not the kind of therapist that will just help you feel better. As she gets to know you, she’ll challenge you to make some changes that will actually help you be better.

With almost 25 years of general experience, Dr. Johnson can guide you in almost any struggle. She attended school far too long and obtained:

• a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Regent University
• a master’s degree from Colorado Christian University
• a bachelors and Mrs. degree from Biola University

Dr. Johnson has bet everything on the fact that God brings new life. This conviction compels her to strengthen relationships, improve mental health, and try not to be cynical about humanity. Two out of three isn’t bad…
