Barbara Dible, Counseling Intern
“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” – Brené Brown
Coming to counseling can take courage. Life can be hard, and sometimes we just need a place where we can openly share what is going on in a safe and confidential environment. With Barb, you’ll have the freedom to be vulnerable and honest without judgement. You’ll feel hope and relief, as if someone has lifted some of the burden you’ve been carrying. Barb works to help you find insight into the origin of issues so you can make choices of how to move forward.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Barb worked as a flight attendant for thirteen years. Throughout that time, Barb enjoyed traveling the world, meeting people from all walks of life, and hearing their stories. It was then that she realized that her passion in life was the meaningful work of helping people overcome their struggles. Her internship at Envision completes requirements for her degree in the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health program at Colorado Christian University.
