SUMMARY:Our Kids + Mental Health: A practical conversation for parents and mentors
DESCRIPTION:Research and Statistics are telling us that the mental health of our kids is becoming an increasingly bigger concern. Just a few months ago Children’s Hospital of Colorado issued a “State of Emergency” in youth mental health as suicide has become the leading cause of death for Colorado’s children. \n‘Our Kids + Mental Health’ is a workshop designed to help parents and mentors gain awareness and resources to prevent and address mental health concerns in the kids around them.This event will be a panel style conversation with mental health professionals from Envision Counseling Clinic and peer professional Sienna Adams.
